My A/C blows at a consistent temperature (cold). The blowers do notch down as I turn the temperature up. However, I have to turn it up to 84/86 degrees for it to get to speed 1 and even then it's blowing out a pretty good amount of cold air. My heat only really works if I have it set on 87-90, otherwise it will blow out cool-ish air. I normally have to take it out of "auto" mode for the air.

I have tried the following:

Pulling the fuses out and letting the blend door motor(s) reset.
Result: Works fine right after that. The next day I get in the vehicle, it is back to being whacked out.

Do you know what could be causing this?
This problem only happened when I changed out the factory radio to an aftermarket radio. Not sure if that could be a result to this problem or not.

Thanks in advance!

Good morning,

This sounds like the in-car sensor is the issue. It is not sending the correct signal to the control module and it thinks it is still too hot.

I attached the procedure below for you to view the repair. The headliner has to be removed to access the sensor.
