A/C not working

Okay. We need a little more info about why they say it will not "allow" Freon to go in. What happens when they try to charge the system? Most likely the compressor will not turn on until the level is high enough due to a pressure switch. However, if they have a scan tool they should be able to manually trigger the compressor and that will pull in the Freon. However, we need the detail about what happens in its current state.

Yeah, went another shop; they say I'll need a evaporator core. the system can't build up Freon and therefore compressor won't kick on. so I'm told. Cost $75.00.
Over the two summers my research did indicate that with the his particular model I have the evaporator core is a problem spot. Wish there was a recall where I can get this $2,000.00 job done at no cost to me.. car drives like a gem.

Yes. Most any aftermarket parts can cause an issue. However, we will need a little more info. First, check the codes and see what the light is on for. Second, get the part numbers and manufacturer that made them.

The only issue is we need all this info posted on a new question. Unfortunately we are required to keep each post to one topic.
