Had my ECM/ECU failed from road rot. Lost my cooling fan circuit, toasted the radiator. Replaced the ECM with same year and code number. Now I have a theft alarm and the car starts and shuts down after ten to fifteen seconds. How do I fix this problem?
I have scanned the car twice and can not find anything to help fix this problem.

a mechanic has to program your car to the PCM for anti theft as they are VIN number specific. your auto parts scanner cannot pick up this code nor do what needs to be done.
