I have the images for the location of the fuel tank pressure sensor, but is isn't there. I cant find it in the engine compartment or at the fuel tank. This is a break year car, is it possible that it wasnt equipped with one, and if that's the case, what else would set this code?

If it is supposed to be there but is missing, it would set the code.

There is no harness connector or vacuum lines for this nor does it look like there was ever one there.

If that is the case, the ECU has been replaced with one that is not for this vehicle.

Don't mean to butt-in. This a component location picture from different database. Honda accord dx. Sometimes the name on the component location isn't the same name on the wiring diagram? https://www.2carpros.com/images/question_images/199373/original.jpg

I found the answer I needed. In 1996 the Accord EX Coupe 2.2l with ABS was the only Accord that had the FTPS. It wasn't added on the rest of the Accords until late 1997. I appreciate the answers you guys sent me, I hope this info that I've provided will help others with the same problem.

You have your answer but now I have my questions.

You have trouble codes and could not find the sensor indicated. What has it got to do with the model for the year?
