No start

(6.0 power-stroke) My truck will not start. I have code for low ICP, EOT sensor high input, and ECT circuit high. I have ruled my ICP is bad by the oil leaking, but it will not start when I unplugged it, and it should start. The ficm Voltage is at 48 cranking and not cranking. The batteries are good to go, the fuses are goods. Have any idea what is wrong and what I could do to test?

P2285, p0118, p0198 are the codes

It sounds like the IPC sensor is bad which will cause your problems. Here is a great video on the problem and how to fix it.

The p0118 code is the engine coolant temp sensor circuit problem so check the connection at the sensor and replace it if everything looks okay. p0198 is engine oil temp. Has the engine over heated?

It hasn't overheated. The truck should start with icp unplugged. I'll go and pickup a new one and put it on there though. What else could I try

They seem to have trouble with the ICP due to heat, I would replace it to see what happens.

I can’t get to th the icp to do it myself, but when the ICP is unplugged the PCM sets a default value for the reading. I’m theory the truck should start. What can I try. What fuses could be bad, could it be a fuel issue?

I am not sure if the engine wills tart without the ICP. But I would check all of the fuses, Here is a guide and some diagrams (below) to help you get started.

Is the security light flashing when you try to start it?

Can you check the fuel injector control module relay as well?

My truck has same problem. I changed one of ICPs but it won’t hold its idle when the engine is cold. It’s coded 2285. Could you help?

Is your vehicle a 2003 F350 6.0L like shown in the heading of this question?

If so, here is the testing that we need to run through.

P2285 - Injector Control Pressure sensor circuit low

Let's run through this testing as this code will directly cause this issue so we need to start with this.

More then likely you have an issue with the pressure sensor, wiring, or PCM but we need to run through the testing to find out. Thanks
