Ok, so on the way home today, i noticed a sudden stiffness in my gear stick going into any gear, and a sudden LOUD rattling/spinning sound , but when u push the clutch pedal in, the sound goes away.. and i couldnt put my car in any gear i was stuck in the street and couldnt push it into the 1st slot or any it was stuck in neutral.. Is this a bad clutch? its at a shop right now and he said its a bad clutch but i wanna know any other opinions that would back him up on this so i can feel more comfortable spending 700$ on this repair.
