So I walked out the other day to find what looked like all of my transmission fluid on the ground. When I looked underneath I discovered that my drain plug is missing. Anyone know where I can find one or what I can do to fix the problem? even if it is a temporary fix. Thanks, Jesse.

Transmission shop?

Auto salvage yard?

There is the dealership option too.

I will not recommend the option that happened to you.

Is it the converter drain plug? I do not recall them having a drain in the pan. Either way a good parts store should have one that will work.

Problem solved. The previous owner had punched a hole to make one. I was able to use a temporary plug and seal it up

Good to hear, You can get a regular kit from many places to add drain plugs. Perhaps a new one would allow a permanent repair.
