Cannot shift into four wheel drive

The truck will not shift into four wheel drive 4hi or 4low and when shifting into all wheel drive it will go for a few feet and make a bad clucking noise.

It sounds like the actuator is weak not shifting the transfer case completely. Below is a guide to help you remove the unit for inspection.

You will need to raise the car up safely.
