Is there a way to test the injectors?

Also, when you turn the key on without starting the engine can you hear the fuel pump run for about 5 seconds? I would try unplugging the MAF sensor to see if it starts as well. Please go over this guide so we can continue:

It starts up on its own but shuts off right away, the fuel getting to the rail pump comes on 40lb of pressure. What happened was I was driving the car about 30 MPH, and the car backfired and shut off, it started right back up but shut off again would not start thereafter. I had her towed home and here I sit I need my car please help. Thanks for your time you guys' rock I will donate as much as I can. I have to see how much this car rim me for. thank you again.

Starts up and runs for how long? From the description of it running and the backfire and now it doesn't run I would think the fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail mat have been damaged by the pressure spike from the backfire.

I have changed the distributor, plug wires, plugs, MAF sensor, TPS, sensor 02 sensor, and a new battery, I think that's about it. The car will start of I put my foot to the floor but as soon as I let off it shut off, I got 40 lbs of pressure at the test port in thinking it might be the ECM. I don't know what else it would be. thanks for your time.

Will it run if you have your foot on the throttle a little bit? In other words, can you make the engine idle if your foot is on the throttle? Can you upload a short video of the problem so we can see?

I have to keep my foot on the throttle for it to stay running and when i get it running I can only get it up to around 2,000 RPMs then it chokes out, and as soon as I let off the gas it shuts off. It has really got me confused it sound to me like it's out of time but my partner swears it's not we taken the dis out a least three time thinking it off a tooth I really don't know anymore. Okay, go to the fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail. Pull the vacuum line off and look for any raw fuel in the hose, try starting the engine, does any fuel come out of the vacuum port on the regulator? Yes, you have gas there, you can replace the regulator diaphragm to repair it. (Book says you replace the entire rail, but you really just replace the diaphragm these days, most of them come with the instructions for the process).
Nothing comes out then we need to look elsewhere. The normal fuel pressure running should be 40-48 PSI on them so your 40 could be OK but if the regulator was leaking it would act like it was flooding all the time like you are describing.
I would also check the MAP sensor voltage; a backfire may have damaged it as well.
