My vehicle listed above has driven for 96,000 miles, there is not any problem. I went to exchange the transmission fluid in the shop yesterday. The staff diagnosed the vehicle with the scanner before exchanging. Everything is good, not any error code. After exchanging transmission fluid, when I began to accelerate, the car won't change gears automatically and it seems like it's forcing itself to change them. The RPM just got higher and doesn't want to change gears. Only 1st gear was working. Then go back to shop for diagnostics, the code P2714 was occur. They asked me to change the transmission valve body with $1,191. I wonder why the components broke after exchanging transmission fluid. Is it caused by their failure exchanging procedure?

It sounds like the fluid level could be low, which is what I would check first since the car was fine before the service. It is a little tricky so they might have missed something.

Here is how the job is done:

(DTC) P2714 - issue with the pressure control solenoid D performance.

I would remove the side drain plug to see if any fluid comes out or if the fluid is close to the level plug. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

The transmission valve body was damaged. Vehicle is working after replacing transmission valve body. I just want to exchange the transmission fluid in this shop. Vehicle worked great before service. Is it identified that the transmission valve body damaged caused by their fault?

That is hard to say, it sure seems that way, but coincidences do happen, can you see where they hit it with something, or any wires cut?
