Hello, do I need to perform a relearn when I replace the cam sensors on this car? How about if it's an OEM same part number replaced? I'm confused. We both two Chinese sensors and the check engine light went off, but car skipped and wouldn't run right. i am returning the Chinese made sensors. Would an OEM Hyundai cam sensor need to be relearned? What brand does not have to be relearned?? thanks

These sensors are delicate and cannot be dropped or over tightened. They don't have a relearn procedure. Here are the locations of the sensor and how to replace them. Check out the images (below). Let us know if you need anything else.

Hi Ken, so they don't need to be reprogrammed or relearned, correct? The new ones made the check engine lite go out but when i replace both new aftermarket cam sensors.

According to the instructions they don't mention a relearn procedure.

Thank you for all your help. You guys are great I got a P0016 code on this same 2017 Hyundai Tuscon SE, do you think the cam sensor could be bad? Because when i put in the new aftermarket cam sensor in, the check engine light went off and the car started okay but wouldn't run right. Cheap Chinese CAM sensors. I just ordered OEM, but someone told me could be loose timing chain.
