Where is the inline fuel filter located?

Hello, trying to figure out the location of the in-line fuel filter.

Hi,

The fuel filter on a 2016 is in the fuel tank. Replacing it requires the removal of the pump assembly.

I attached the directions specific to this vehicle below. Take a look through them and let me know if you have questions or if I can help.

Thank you so much, one last question. Looking at pic #8 and considering that my parts store sold me an inline filter. Can I remove the pump, change the filter, and put the reassembled old fuel pump back in?

Hi,

There is no serviceable fuel filter. It is part of the fuel level sensor and pump assembly.

The older models did have an inline filter. It was located to the left and slightly below the power brake booster on the firewall. See pic below.

Double-check that it isn't there on your vehicle. Anything is possible, but it isn't indicated in my manual.
