I've noticed that when A/C is set to the lowest, it only gets cold on the passenger side. Driver side is warm. I suspect it's the blend door actuator but I'm only seeing things for the passenger side actuator. There are 2 separate actuators, correct? And where is the driver side one located? Looking in the forum it looks to be on top of the acceleration pedal. Is this correct? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Hi,

It is located above the accelerator pedal. You need to remove the pedal assembly to access the actuator.

To get you started, here is a link that shows in general how one is replaced. You can use this as a guide.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/replace-blend-door-motor

I attached directions specific to your vehicle below. The first directions are the removal and replacement of the accelerator pedal. The directions are extremely vague, so I enlarged the pic (pic 3) so you can see where the attaching bolt is located. Once that bolt is removed, push up on the assembly and pull the top of it outward.

The remaining pics are related to the blend air door for the driver's side. Also very vague, so let me know if you need help.

Take care,

Joe

Seems like the brake pedal is more of an issue than the accelerator. Do you have a diagram for removal of that?

Hi,

I believe the pedal and bracket need to be removed together. I have the directions, but you may not want to see them. LOL

If you look at the attachments below, they include the directions for removal and replacement of the brake pedal and bracket. Take a look through them and let me know if they help.

Take care,

Joe
