Engine will not start?

Van was running fine. Moved it from one spot in my driveway to another spot in driveway and no issues. Went a few hours later to run to town and as soon as I started it, was running a few seconds with really rough idle and knocking sound before I turned it off. Tried it again in hopes it would reset itself when I turned it off and on again but it had the same rough "idle" again. Left off for a few hours then tried it again and now it just cranks and doesn't fire/startup. Nothing new is showing on obd code reader. Any thoughts?

Since there are no codes, I would start by checking to see if the fuel pressure is within the manufacturer's specs. Low pressure can cause this.

You could try to see if it starts for a couple seconds using starting fluid. If it does, then it is fuel related. If it doesn't, then we need to check for spark to the plugs.

Here are the manufacturer's specs for fuel pressure:

FUEL DELIVERY SYSTEM PRESSURE SPECIFICATIONS
FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE

400 kpa ±34 kpa (58 psi ± 5 psi)

You will need a fuel pressure gauge. Most parts stores will lend or rent one to you.
