No you can't. Theres no such thing as extending the crank. The starter is designed to crank for a certain time to engage the flywheel and turn the engine on. Any longer and you can cause damage. Test your vehicle battery and make sure its fully charged. Ive had this concern before on a Sonata where I can turn the engine on with no problems with the key but it wouldn't start with the remote start and it was due to a bad cell in the battery. Using a remote starter causes more of a battery drain upon startup so if there isn't enough voltage in the battery, it will not start. If the battery test good and is fully charged, I would bring it back to whoever installed the remote start and make sure that everything is good on that end.
