Yesterday, I was preparing to back my daughter's Nissan Sentra into my driveway when I initially thought I heard a clicking sound. Thinking it might be a CV axle, I drove down the street and made a series of hard right and hard left turns. There was no noise. Again, attempting to back into the driveway, I heard what sounded like a thumping noise from the front left side of the car. I stopped the car and the noise stopped. I shifted into neutral, into drive, and into park. There was still no noise, only when I was moving in reverse. I recorded the noise on my cellphone and have attached it to this inquiry. By the way, I replaced the brake pads and rotors two days ago.
