The air ventilation always blows hot or warm air

Unless I turn the AC on. Turning the dial on blue doesn't blow cold air. Mazda is saying it is how all the cars are, but I am very disappointed that a brand new car would blow warm/hot air when putting the air temperature control dial in the blue range.

They are saying it is because the engine is hot and the air comes through there. is this true? It is under warranty, but they do not want to fix it, saying it is how it is.

I am not sure I know what you mean by the last statement. When I first start the car? it is maybe a bit cooler, and then it gets worse as i am driving. But not much. They say that they checked the heating box, and it tested fine, but I just can't believe that this is normal and I am afraid that they are trying to fool me. Is this a common problem? If I turn the dial to the beginning or the middle of the blue section, shouldn't it be cool? It is completely hot. The only time I may get maybe a little bit of coolness is when I turn it all the way down. Is it worth to bring it to another dealer service? It is still under warranty?

I see. And if it is hot right away when I turn it off? Then it's normal? Or then you know another solution? You are very helpful.

I went to test drive another one yesterday, and it was pretty similar actually:( Sadly in that case, I don't think they will do anything. I asked this other dealership about it, and they said, if I want cool air, I will need to put the AC on. I think it's a joke, but they say it is how all the Mazda 3s are, and that I knew what I bought. So I guess they are saying that nothing is wrong with it, and unfortunately comparing to the other one, it might be the case? Does this sound right to you?
