the transmission is bad I want to remove it

Removing and replacing the transmission is not too hard, but you will be working under the vehicle with heavy components, so be careful. Check out the diagrams (Below).

To get you started, here is a link that explains how it's done in general. Use this as a guide. Note: The link shows the procedure being done on a manual transmission. An automatic transmission is a little different, but at the same time, very similar.
