I am looking for the pinout diagram for the C5 block on the TIPM to chase some electrical issues related to a harness swap.

Thank you,

Paul

Sure, here is the C5 wiring block for the TIPM. Check out the images (below). Let us know if you need anything else.

Thanks Ken! I see that C6 and C2 have also been posted in another question, but the other blocks pinouts on the TIPM for this truck would also be handy.

Thanks again for the pinouts. Still having a problem correcting the non communication with the engine ECM, I can communicate with every control module in the system except the engine PCM. A previous person working on this truck completly severed the C5 block from the harness. All of the wires have been reconnected, I have confirmed continuity of all connections, and have been tracing all comm wires to the PCM with no luck finding an issue.

Any places to start clearing this up?

Also, I have tried checking comms with a known good PCM, and still no comms.

Okay, upon further circuit testing, and your very helpful pinouts, I was able to determine block C2 and C1 were from a 2010 vehicle. This truck is being rebuilt, and I have come into this mess halfway through their carnage. I have removed the complete (block C1/C2) harness from a 2012 truck of same spec, this harness also feeds the engine harness. My guess is that the connector block that ties the engine harness to the C1 and C2 harness will have a different wiring configuration, and will not "plug and play"?

Would you have the pinout for that connection? I don't know the connector number.

Yep, think you found the issue, these will be different configurations. Please post a new question for the 2010 here, you must be logged in.
