Amber light is not showing a dirty filter but rather water has accumulated sufficiently in the filter to turn the warning light on. Filter is screwed on and you would need a filter wrench to take it off.

Before you begin, you should refer to the owner's manual for more information. We don't have any information for your vehicle and if I am not wrong, you could trigger other warning lights or the amber light would not turn off untill you reset it, even if the filter has been replaced. I don't have the reset procedure for you.
