2011 Hyundai Genesis high rpms at cold start

at cold start up engine revs to 11-13,000 rpms, terrible rattle ! heard its normal...to "blow out " catalytic converter ? cant be good on engine... any suggestions ? possibly oil additive to keep top end lubricated ?

try cleaning throttle plate on both sides and iac hole with choke cleaner check for a vacuum hose off/broken/cracked.
