I just wanted to know how easy of a job this is? Can you give me step by step directions? What are the torque specs for the water pump bolts for the new water pump?

Ok so I got the water pump replaced...very easy job! I filled the car back up with coolant let it heat up and started having a leak. I found that the leak was actually coming from the over flow hose on the reservior. What would be causing this? Thermostat being held open? If so how do I go about getting to the thermostat to replace it?

thermostat is a nightmare to do and not an easy job

engine cool
open radiator cap
fill with coolant start engine and let it warm
keep on checking coolant and upper radiator hose it should warm up to hot close radiator cap and
let it run until fan come on

before going through the trouble and replacing the thermostat check if the lower intake manifold gasket leaking
check under the throttle body top the bell housing for coolant
and have it intake manifold gasket need replacement
and when manifold out replace the thermostat

if not leaking and like to replace the thermostat
have to remove exhaust cross pipe and remove the thermostat housing and the thermostat
