pulled onto my cousins street this morning, idling down the road, clutched in and placed it in second, released clutch, gear activated, as soon as i touched the accelerator it spat out of gear and made light grinding sound when ur just out of gear, this is the same for all 5 gears and reverse,

its a 2011 Great Wall x240, done 110,000,

I would first ensure that tne bell housing is tight, if the transmission has been removed at some time and the bolts are loose, misalignment can cause the transmission to pop out of gear when power is applied. Failing that you will have to inspect the clutch and gear box for faults.
