Engine vibrating

Check engine light came on and car started vibrating when brakes are applied or stopped at a stop light. Also, when pushing down on the gas pedal the car won't always accelerate as quickly as it should. Does not shake when in park though.

My engine vibrates and makes rattle noise at idle mode. When I drive no noise,but when I apply the braked at a full stop and sit with my foot on the brake peddle to keep it from moving such as at a stop light, it vibrates so hard that it shakes the whole car.The same situation at parking mode when the engine is running.The motor mounts are ok. Spark plugs had been replaced two years ago.May be some one knows what is causing this.

I am having this issue with my 1002 Kia Rio. When I am at stop signs and lights, it shakes pretty bad, but when I go to accelerate, it stops. I have had all my motor mounts replaced, spark plugs, wires, crap...everything...STILL shaking. I just took it to a new mechanic this morning so I will let you know what he found.

I had this problem and followed the guide helped me replace the spark plugs to make it run smooth again.
