I drive my 2010 Hyundai Elantra as a second car. I do not drive it often. I drove it for 85 miles on one given day and then didn't drive it for 8 days. Well, I had asked for advice as to if it would still likely start and I was told that it would. And after not driving it I drove it yesterday. I drove it for a total of 6.5 miles. Now it will likely sit one day (today) without driving and then I will go to start it tomorrow. Do you think that the 6.5 miles of driving gave the car enough of charge in order for it to sit one day and then start tomorrow? Given all that I have told you do you believe that my car will start up tomorrow after sitting for the one day this time (today)?

The industry standard is a good battery will still start the engine after the car has been sitting for three weeks. Most cars will go longer than that. It's the memory circuits for the many computers that drain the battery. 6 miles is enough to charge the battery that has been sitting for a few days. It will take longer to fully charge the battery if it's been sitting a week or longer, but time is the issue, not miles.
