Draining battery

This problem started a week ago when the tailgate was left open for six hours and the vehicle would not start. It appeared that the battery was dead. It was jump started but then the next morning it would not start again. I had the battery replaced but then 2 days later it was dead again. AutoZone tested the new battery and the alternator and said they tested as good. I have had to have it jump started about every other day now and I don't know why. Is there a way for me to determine what is draining the battery?

Hello,

It sounds like when the battery was jumped you had a voltage surge which took out the door multiplex control module. I would try unplugged it over night to see if the battery draw goes away here are diagrams below to show you the location and a guide to help out as well.

Thanks for this spot I had the same problem and had to get a new door module becasue it was not shutting down. Cost me $284.00 to have it fixed!
