I have a 2010 ford focus. Im diligent on keeping the oil changed every 3000 miles. i left the oil filler cap off after an oil change and discovered the engine compartment coated with oil after a couple half hour trips. The dipstick was at the minimun mark. I added a quart which brought it to the full mark. Im convinced I was only a quart low. Have I done damge to my engine?
