My car won't move

My 2010 Fiat Bravo won't move forwards, it feels as though the handbrake is on.

It moves in reverse.
The handbrake effects the car in reverse.
There are no warning lights when it normally warns me if the misses has farted!!!
Apparently I'm not covered for breakdown with my bank account although they advertise.
