I have started hearing a rattle in what I think might be the valves. It doesnt do it when it is in park and idle only when I am accelerating and even worse when I am going up a hill. I have also noticed that it is missing very bad.

The first thing you need to have done is to scan the computer. Most part stores will do it for free. Do that and let me know what codes are found.
