AC blowing hot air

What would make the AC start blowing out hot air in my car. Real hot air comes out of the defrost vent on the inside of windshield only no matter how the controls are set.

This sounds like you have a mode actuator that is not working. Here is a guide that will show you what you are in for when changing it along with the locations for your car below:

Yep, it cost me $56.00 for the actuator and took a bit to install but it works great now. Thanks for the guides.
