What is wrong with my 2010 Audi a3. The speed governance indicator came on telling me no to take the engine above 4000 revs

You will have to take this back to a dealer, this will be an internal electrical problem, it will be covered under you warranty.

Thanks but I got this from the manual. I really wanted to know what may have been causing it. FYI it was the air baffle.
