Car shakes violently to 20 mph then stops

It only does this while in gear. Replaced motor mounts didn’t fix it. Could the CV axles of wheel bearing cause this?

Hi,

Yes, an axle or joint can cause it, but I would think you would hear noise when making turns such as a clicking. Also, I would feel you would notice it at any speed. Take a look through this link Here is one that deals and see if anything mirrors what you experience and let me know:

Is there any growling noises or noticeable sounds related that may indicate a wheel bearing? Also, do you feel it more in the steering wheel or the floor of the vehicle?

Hi,

It could be a broken belt in one or more tires or excessive wheel run-out this can be hard see and will also smooth out with higher speed have the tire and wheel checked for run-out and balance by a certified tire expert. I'm attaching repair guide below let us know if you need more information.
