2009 Toyota Van wont start

I turn the key and get a fast clicking noice, and a humming noice which continues when key is of, sounds like solonoid? where is the solonoid and starter motor? Can I bypass the problem to start it?

Seems like you have a weak battery. Did you try a jump start?

Thanks for your answer. I read your reply and thought na its not a battery problem as I had checked the battery with my meter and it was reading 13 volts after had it on charge over night. But I thought I would try jumping my van with another battery and to my surprise it cranked and started first shot.
I haven't had a starting issue since but I am preparing for the purchase of a new battery.
