I applied the brakes the pedal started to shake

We were driving down hill and at a speed of 35km/hr and then slowed down as there was a speed breaker , when I applied the brakes the pedal started to shake, I need new front brakes.

Ensure that you work safe, with vehicle raised support it with axle stands.
When fitting new discs ensure that they are clean, free from oil and grease
