How do you change the bulb in the shift indicator bulb?

The blub size is a 194 your best bet is to loosen the screws on the console and try to slip your hand up there and change the blub.It should be a twist in socket into the bottom of the indicator. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

How would I go about doing that? I cannot see how I can access it that way.

You can ethier loosen the console up and snake your arm up there or remove the whole console.If you want to remove the whole console i can get you directions for that.But i would try flexing the console with it loose first.I have never had to replace one of those blubs on that model saturn yet.But i would try to avoid pulling the console.

Pull what is on my seat like a second factory drawing.
Change bulbs reassemble.
No need to even consider removing console this is not an S Series Saturn by far!!!
