Hi,

I've just had my battery and alternator replaced in my car which is just out of warranty !! Typical !! However, I notice that my radio is now working perfectly when I start the car. Previously it would cut out a few times - mentioned this to the garage before but they didn't know what was wrong with it - thought it could just be the RDS/TA signal.
Could this have been an indication that the alternator was faulty ? Seems strange to me.
