Replacing my wife's battery on a dark night. Got the battery turned around. Unfortunately hooked the positive to the negative terminal, and just touched the negative to the positive terminal before I got a big spark and realized what I had done. Got it installed correctly. Now, I get lights, windows, door locks, but when I turn the ignition, it won't try to engage the engine nor do I get the radio to turn on (though the heater/AC works)
I had seen where the 120amp fuse will blow if you install the battery incorrectly. Does that sound consistent with the issues I have now? I'd like to save a small town and diagnostic, if possible, if it's just a fuse that I can replace. Thanks!
