While driving would not shift out of first gear at the same time the power steering and speedometer stopped working

I was driving car it has been shifting kinda hard for couple months and all of sudden one day while i was driving down the road about 40 mph it wouldn't no longer shift out of first gear. also power steering became hard to steer and speedometer went down to zero. i was able to drive the car to the nearest parking lot. it still cranks up fine and i can go forward and reverse. i already replaced the output speed sensor, but that didn't fix the problem. can anybody help?

It sounds like the PCM may have went out. but we should start by running the codes to see what comes up. here is a guide:

It gave me code P0722 which is for "output shaft speed sensor no signal". i replaced it with a new one but still didn't fix problem. but i tried to drive the car and noticed that while going up a hill it would actually shift gears then after that i could get up to normal speeds of around 50 or 60 mph but of course it still shifts hard and speedometer not working and power steering is kinda hard.

When you replaced the sensor did you use an AC Delco replacement? Lets check the wiring between the sensor and PCM. here is a guide to help you and the transmission wiring diagrams below:
