Remote Fob won't lock or unlock doors or trunk

The alarm went off today (no aparant cause) since then the FOB will not lock or unlock doors or trunk and will not cause the alarm to go off. The FOB works fine for starting the car and the door entry works to lock and unlock doors and trunk.

Any ideas? I changed the Battery in the remote but no help
