My Trunk will not open with the key or the electronic release from the key fob or from the front door release.
I recently had to pop the trunk to put in some long objects and in order to tie the lid down I manually locked the mechanism using the lever on the trunk lock in order to make a place for the tie-down to feed through. All went well and I unloaded the objects but when I tried to close the trunk it would not close as the mechanism was in the locked position. Nothing I did electronically worked so I once again used the emergency release to open the "teeth" on the lock mechanism. I then close the trunk it all was fine until I tried to open it again. Now I cannot get the trunk open no matter what I do and the back seats are up and locked place so I have no access to the emergency truck release button. HELP!!!!
