right hand indicator light keeps turning itself on

I have a 09 mondeo and the right hand indicator light keeps turning itself on when I am driving the car. When the car is turned off the right hand parking light keeps coming on.

This happens when the smart junction box is going out or has water damage/corrosion on the connectors. Here is the location of the uint and the wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works and so you can remove it for inspection.

If no damage is found you will need to have the new or used unit programmed to the car which will cost about $130.00
