Sometimes when I start my car, the radio lights will not come on and my windshield wipers will not work

Sometimes when I start my car, the radio lights will be off and radio will not come on, the wipers will not work, and recently the heater as well. Sometimes it is just one of these, and others all of them. What would make them sporadically quit working at times, but seem fine at others?
