camshaft sensor location

My car is putting out a code for a camshaft sensor but mine does not have a cam shaft sensor I've had my mechanic look and we can't find the problem please help and thank you we took the air filter out looked at the cams and everything I have no idea what it could be is it just an error when I go to stop at a red light it stalls but only when the engine light is on

yes it does have a cam sensor it's item 7 in the pic.

Yes you r right we fount it at the rear of the engine thank you for your help we r on our way to auto zone now

The camshaft sensor is at the rear of the engine. Check out the diagrams above. Can you please shoot a quick video with your phone so we can see what's going on, that would be great. You can upload it here with your response.
