If the timing belt or chain cut and the engine has no specific timing mark..how can we set the timing correctly Timing belt or chain

You have a timing chain-is it stretched or broken???-also are you trying to set the valve or ignition timing-let me know

Put engine no.1 piston on its compression stroke/TDC and then align the cam and crank sprockets/gear-see below

Dunno if its free but this is how you set the valve timing by putting all the markings in position-sorry this is all I got
