Front struts, Toyota Corolla

We have a leaking front strut on a 2008 Toyota Corolla, the dealer won't fix under warranty. 32,000 miles, no symptoms other than our mechanics first noticed it. They feel it should be covered by our Toyota warranty.
Is this dangerous, and is the dealership being weasles?

Actually, struts are considered a wear maintenance item which isn't covered by the bumper to bumper warranty. If the struts are still working properly, there isn't any danger. Eventually, they will get very weak allowing the vehicle to bounce excessively. At that point, it could become dangerous. However, you will notice them getting worse. If you have no symptoms, I wouldn't be too concerned about it.

DEALER SHOULD CHECK IT AND DETERMINE IF LEAKING OR NOT
AND IT SHOULD BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY

Check your warranty. It will tell you what is covered and what is not, brake pads are not covered, belts etc.
If it does NOT list struts, then they should be replaced.
