knock sensor location

Hello,

There are two knock sensor one on each side of the block here are diagrams and instructions so you can replace the sensor. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Hi! I have an 06 Saturn Vue with the Honda 3.5 engine in it, does anyone know where the knock detonation sensor is located on this engine? I am not sure if I am saying it correctly. It might just be called the knock sensor I am having a hard time finding this, so any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

It should be under the intake manifold, do you have a code for the knock sensor? I have seen rodents chew the wires to them.They nest under the manifold and chew the wires to the knock sensor. I have seen the wire to it chewed far more often then the sensor itself going bad.

Also I have replaced the knock sensor and the harness without removing the I take manifold before.Your engine is a interference fit engine.But if the timing belt is off by one tooth you could have a rough idle and run fine down the road.

I have attached pictures below of the 4 cylinder and 6 cylinder engine knock sensor location as it did not specify. I am attaching a tutorial showing what the replacement entails, but it is in English. The 4-cylinder image is # 3 and the 6-cylinder image is location # 9.
