how do i jump start another car from a peugeot 308 because half the battery with the ground terminal is hidden under bodywork?

This is easy you must connect the negative battery cable to a good ground source such as the frame or engine block the power side needs to go on the positive battery terminal. Here is a video to show you how the job is done
