I am changing the rear rotors on my nissan maxima but I am having a difficult time removing the rear rotor itself. The parking break is not on, as I know this may cause the difficulty sometimes. Is it just the rust that is holding it on or is there something that I have to do that involves adjusting the break shoes? I did the front ones with no problems.

Make sure the rear parking brakes shoes are not engaged. Then, tap on the rotor face (near the lug / studs) to loosen it.
