Nothing after I start the car it says mazda tribute then goes blank. I hit the on/off button twice and the clock appears for a second then it goes blank again.

It won't turn over. My father is coming over to try to jump it.

Jumped it and it took awhile to start and recharge the battery. When the car started the radio and clock turned on. Weird! Think I may just take it to the dealer. Thanks.
