the parking light doesn't light the high beam does, it uses a h1 bulb single filament bulb

the high beam works when the switch is turned to high beam. when used as a parking light it suppose to dim the bulb, the passenger side works

You need to check the power and ground to the inop blub and see what your missing.That is your starting point.
